Future Ready Healthcare Survey: Amplifying a Vision for Tomorrow’s Care

GenAI is everywhere, but is it actually making an impact? That’s one of the questions that Wolters Kluwer sought to answer in its newest report, Future Ready Healthcare. Through one of the broadest surveys of the healthcare industry – spanning everyone from frontline nurses to the C-Suite – the report offers elucidating takeaways on the gap between GenAI appetite vs. readiness and what’s hindering progress.

We partnered with their team from initial concept through report development on a multi-faceted and integrated digital and thought leadership campaign to amplify this data across the market. By highlighting critical insights and fostering dialogue on healthcare innovation, this project exemplifies how we transform data into impactful narratives.

Key results from the campaign:

  • Strategic thought leadership amplification, including op-eds and interviews that positioned Wolters Kluwer as a key voice in healthcare transformation and driving responsible adoption of GenAI in healthcare.
  • Broad engagement with audiences across the healthcare ecosystem, from providers to policymakers, driving conversations around future-readiness.

We have loved partnering with Wolters Kluwer to extend their “Future Ready” campaign into healthcare, ensuring their messages not only reach the right audiences but also resonate deeply. Through creative storytelling, strategic outreach, and integrated amplification, we didn’t just hit the mark(a)—we set a new standard for what’s achievable.

2026 Update:

As AI becomes embedded across the healthcare experience, Wolters Kluwer Health set out to better understand how patients, physicians and nurses are using the technology, and where expectations, trust and governance are falling behind. This summer, we worked with their team to launch the second edition of the Future Ready Healthcare Survey Report,  translating a robust data set into an integrated earned media campaign built around the questions reporters and their audiences are asking about AI in healthcare. The findings showed that AI has already entered the exam room: 42% of patients frequently bring AI-generated information to appointments, and 59% of providers say they engage with it. Where the two sides diverge is on risk. Clinicians are focused on preserving sound clinical judgement, with 74% concerned AI could erode critical thinking, while patients are looking for greater accountability, with 75% concerned about who is responsible if AI contributes to harm.

The campaign generated more than 20 feature stories in the first month, spanning trade and national media and positioning the Future Ready Healthcare report as a key source of insight on AI adoption in healthcare. The research was featured across leading healthcare and technology outlets, including Fierce Healthcare, TechTarget, STAT, and Healthcare IT Today, helping establish the survey as a benchmark for conversations around responsible AI in medicine. We built out a paid activation strategy, collaborating with outlets like Modern Healthcare to elevate the research among key buyer audiences.

Greenough also secured a series of substantive media conversations for Chief Medical Officer Dr. Peter Bonis, including interviews with Newsweek, Healthcare Dive, and NPR. These conversations moved beyond the survey findings to explore how AI is fundamentally changing the patient journey and the clinician-patient relationship. As Peter shared with Newsweek:

"AI is not just something that healthcare organizations are implementing within the walls of the health system. It's something that's shaping the patient journey well before they enter the doctor's office. That influences the dynamics of clinical decision-making in important ways.”

Rather than treating Future Ready Healthcare as a one-day announcement, the data and key themes are serving as an ongoing thought leadership platform that pairs proprietary research with timely executive insights. The result was a campaign that elevated both the data and Wolters Kluwer Health's clinical expertise, positioning the organization as a trusted voice on one of healthcare's most important conversations.
